Because of the mindset of those years, when success was imagined only through engineering, I too — like most of my peers — chose electrical and electronics engineering with a telecommunications major. Alongside my studies I followed Iran's stock market at a surface level. My view of the market back then was mostly a beginner's adventure, since our minds had been filled with the cliché slogan “the stock market: a second job, a first income.” But I quickly realised that treating the market as a career is not something to be underestimated.

It was in 2012 that I became interested in Forex trading, yet in that period society's view of the very name “Forex” was deeply pessimistic — not only did people have no familiarity with financial markets, but wherever Forex was mentioned they assumed it was the same as GoldQuest. At that time underground Ponzi schemes had spread widely, and that was a reason for this pessimistic view. So it was better not to talk to anyone about your activity in this market.

Years later, in 2019-2020, with the spread of cryptocurrencies, the Forex market also became more tangible for people, and today society has become familiar with the work of Forex traders.

In those years there were only limited Persian resources for learning Forex, and most of the available material was a mix of shallow strategies and moving averages that merely carried the name “strategy.” Entering this field without credible, well-organised resources made the path harder. That era was one of continuous effort, study, and trial and error. But I knew one thing: if I wanted to succeed on this path, I had to study more deeply than others.

This year, out of disappointment with electrical engineering, I decided to change course and move into ICT (Information and Communication Technology). The reason for this change was my interest in computer networks and programming. I wanted a better understanding of the software structures of the financial markets and, ultimately, to be able to write trading experts.

That year I met Mostafa at university, who was also studying and active in this market in parallel, and this brought me into a new phase of study, because we did everything we could to help one another and to be a source of growth for each other.

We made good profits and had losses alongside them, but these emotions were still amateurish, because we needed to gain far more control over our own feelings.

This year the trend of profitability became stable for me, and from then on trading was no longer a challenge. I had reached a level where I could trade professionally, with confidence.

In the same year, together with a number of friends who like me were active in this market, we worked seriously on programming trading experts. This work helped us optimise our trading strategies and design automated and semi-automated systems for trading.

Now, years after 2016 — the year I began turning personal strategies into “trading experts” — we are still developing and improving them. The path of research and development in this field has never stopped, and every day we seek to upgrade our trading systems and optimise the algorithms.

The progress in this regard was such that even the title of my bachelor's project in June 2016 became: The role of ICT in advancing international financial markets (Forex).

This year, thanks to the confidence I had gained from trading and continuous profitability, I decided to apply to migrate to the United States. I booked an appointment at the US embassy, imagining that with a strong financial strategy I could shape a different future for myself.

In the end, right when I applied for the visa, my family were granted visas but I was not. This coincided with the enforcement of the ban on Iranians entering the United States by Donald Trump.

This completely changed my path and made me focus even more on my personal strategies. After returning to Iran I fell into a kind of depression, but I quickly realised that I had to refocus on myself and on my trading path.

Over these years I created more than 150 Instagram highlights containing over 10,000 Instagram stories, so that everyone could learn trading strategies for free and, if they needed more, take part in the comprehensive trading course.

After years of research and teaching since 2010, and given the circle of Forex friends I had on Instagram and their “very strong demand” for “holding a trading course,” I decided in 2018 to run a training course.

But I soon realised that constantly attending in-person classes prevented me from focusing on my own trading. On the other hand, the number of investors was high but the number of real traders was low, and this had made the teaching environment far from what I expected.

For this reason I decided to record the best training course possible up to that time, under the title Poursamadi Comprehensive Trading Course, comprising 90 sessions from zero to a hundred; a course that started a revolution in trading in Iran, and many people, using the comprehensive trading course, became “professional traders” in “trading rooms” in various countries, and some, using this course and the “Instagram highlights of the Poursamadi page,” became “trading instructors in the financial markets” — and this is the greatest pride of my life.

The main goal of the comprehensive trading course is to train professional traders so that I can make use of their talents alongside my own and add them to my trading team. For this reason the financial side of this project has never been the point; since then it has been offered at a fixed price of 3 million tomans so that everyone can use it, covering only the salaries of the admins and the course support.

At that time, talking about a trading team was a very big claim, but thank God today it has become obvious in the Persian-speaking trading community, and that is a source of pride for us ❤️

From 2020, the students I had taught gradually became professionals and formed trading teams. This trend brought me to a new stage on the trading path and gave me the experience of working with professional teams.

From 2018 until today, I have always been teaching and discovering talented traders so that I can build two-way collaborations with them.

Today, for me, trading is something more than a profession — it is a philosophy of life.

If I were to sum up my whole experience in a few sentences:

1. Trading means practice, practice, and more practice of psychological self-control.
2. Not tampering with the logical volume of trades.
3. And mastering only a single trading style (for me, price action).
